Same-gender marriage is now legal in California. The California Supreme Court’s recent ruling became final at 5pm PDT today, and the first official, legal weddings took place today. No doubt the religious right will be howling and screaming. Indeed, there is already an initiative under way to amend the California state constitution to make same-gender marriage illegal. People like Tony Perkins and his ilk evidently think that something like the below is a threat to America and their own rocky marriages:
