Top 10 Excuses for Not Blogging

Monday, August 27th, 2007

I haven’t posted in a while. Here are some reasons why:

10. Couldn’t remember admin password.
9. Forgot to pay webhosting bill.
8. Got wasted at the Jimmy Buffett concert and just now recovered.
7. Those damned pop-up blockers.
6. I ran out of gas. I had a flat tire. I didn’t have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn’t come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! It wasn’t my fault, I swear to god, it wasn’t my fault!
5. Gave up blogging for Lent. Never started again.
4. Nothing interesting to blog about.
3. Too much pressure to only post something profound.
2. Nobody cares what I think anymore.
1. Tried to get elected to City Council.

Running for Congress

This lady is the former mayor of Frisco, and one of the reasons I became so involved in local politics. She has a unique way of building consensus and getting people involved. She encourages input from everyone and gets people involved in the process, which makes the end result much better. She needs to be serving us in Congres.
