On the Anniversary of 9/11/01…
This is not posted for its humor or its biting poignancy. This is posted as a reminder that during the 2000 presidential campaign, George W. Bush damned Al Gore for not having brought the perpetrators of the 1998 embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania to justice. 7 years after 9/11/01, George W. Bush and the hawks in his administration have failed to find the world’s most wanted man, who is also the world’s tallest Arab. Our country is rampant with hypocrisy, which usually takes the form of someone condemning another for something they themselves have done. George W. Bush condemned someone for something, and then later did the same thing, only under much more serious circumstances. Hypocrisy of this magnitude is, I think, unforgiveable.
